‘Mystery’ Challenge

A new challenge for this week: 7 august – 12 august. Have fun!

There are 4 variants, choose any.

#1. ‘Mysterious 3’.
Open the kitchen shelves in your house. Pick 3 objects you see. Write a mystery-story including those 3 objects.
#2. ‘Mysterious Me’.
You woke up on the street with the lost memory
(amnesia). What would you do?
#3. ‘Mystery Recipe’.
Write the recipe/or the preparation of the
Mystery Dish.
#4. Solve the mystery (of the universe, of Mona Lisa, of the lost glove, of always disappearing chocolate brownies…).
Or simply include the word ‘mystery in your text.

My example
‘The 3 Biggest Mysteries in the Universe’

We’ve learned so much over the centuries, but science still can’t definitively answer these surprisingly fundamental questions. But RAY can! 🤪😁

  1. What came before the Big Bang?
Desire. Desire to bang it. Nothing ever started from nowhere or nothing. Here’s the mind blowing part: give the ball a push and it will fly – give a balloon some air and it will grow bigger.
  2. Why humans are more fat than 1000 years ago?
Because the universe is expanding. Everything and everyone is made up of “baryonic matter:” protons, neutrons and electrons = atoms. If the universe is expanding – you are expending as well. Get ready to explode!
  3. What is dark energy and is it dangerous?
Try not to think about it. It is probably someone’s breath. And that someone is much much bigger than the rest of us. So stay calm, enjoy the lack of the understanding what that huge thing is!…

ha ha 😂

I’ll post the pictures from my vacation as soon as I can: tomorrow (you know how lazy Ray is…)!

Also I would like to add that I’m working with my second draft and it will be ready 1 September. Here’s the pitch of the story:

If someone told you that you were born under mysterious circumstances, that you appeared on Earth as a baby and nobody knew how you were born – grown by aliens, popped into existence by invisible gravity force, or assembled in some kind of DNA-factory  – wouldn’t you find it absolutely frightening? Knowing that you aren’t you, loosing your identity and mind, feeling that it isnt normal for you to be here, because you are the part of something else…but still the part of the Earth.
Time to meet the most extraordinary girl in the history of Universe!
Spoiler alert: death is a big mess.

The prototype of the hero:
Plan for this week is HERE. I’ll try to do my best and post as often as I can. But in case of my absence, remember…I’m working with one awesome book – ‘The Dulcinea Project’.

HUGS! 😉☕️✌️

Next post – #coolprompts – ‘The End Of Infinity’.
Based on “The Sand Reckoner”, Archimedes: ‘Some think that the grains of sand cannot be counted.’
