Safari tour and wine testing (again πŸ˜‚). Videos I’ll upload later next week/

β€œWhy is it you can never hope to describe the emotion Africa creates? You are lifted. Out of whatever pit, unbound from whatever tie, released from whatever fear. You are lifted and you see it all from above.” * Francesca Marciano (Italian novelist and filmmaker; extract from β€œRules of the Wild”)

Dankie for the time and effort you put into your ‘travel photos’!
Makes one want to ‘light’ a fire under ones butt and go!

“One whom inspires”, is hidden between the letters of her middle name!!!

I sort of got that feeling when looking at the wine tour pictures! I mentioned that I think!

  5. thanks for your beautiful pics, reminding me of my home. Africa is a majestic Continent, and South Africa just awe inspiring. I’m so happy you enjoyed your visit. The reality of that beauty, that peace, that sense of wonder, is shattered when you live there, and fall victim to the horrific crime though. Hence so many thousands of South Africans have had to leave our Beloved Country. The History is interesting. I may put a post up to explain the Truths that visitors do not see. But so happy you loved it. It is, to my mind, still the most beautiful Country in the World and was heartbreaking to have to leave. xxx

    • Yes, the historia is very interesting, would be great πŸ‘ if you’d post about South Africa! I’d def could live here, it feels very good – like home :))

I think reading what “Trade Routz” might post would be such an ‘eye opener’!
I have enjoyed the pictures, and the narration Ms. Ray has provided us with!
Such a beautiful Country!! RNT U da best!!

      • β€οΈβ€οΈβ€οΈπŸ‘ get a rest, Kinky :))

      • And Thank you! Lots πŸ€—πŸ€—

      • Hi kinkyacres….I have blogged about the diabolical sad situation in SA before, but I think I’ll redo one, explaining the horror that few know of. Only ppl who take an interest in the Countries actual state with photos of horror, will get the Truth of what is happening in my Country. I’ll write an informative blog on this….sorry if I sound like the ‘harbinger of doom’…I don’t mean to be, but oh, how they placate the visitors, who are simply unaware as to what is going on, through no fault of their own

      • Hi raynotbradbury. I will defo write a truthful blog on the Country. It’s wonderful to visit for many, but living there….ummm….noooo! I’ll explain why in my next blog! So happy you are safe xx

      • βœŒοΈπŸ‘πŸ‘‹ great! Thx

      • kinkyacres says:

UNFORTUNATELY, there is the other side of the coin! I applaud Ms.Ray for her ‘spirit’ of adventure and all she so kindly provided us readers. However, everyday I was praying for her safety!!

      • Yes, of course. But I’m not alone here. And I’m living in the 5 star place…and it seems all is very quiet here. Ppl are nice. Mostly whites around. Running, eating..all just like in Europe. But I do understand there’re more dangerous areas here (I don’t go there) & in general Cape Town is only small small piece of South Africa etc. thx Kinky!
