I write for money…

While money can’t buy happiness, it certainly lets you choose your own form of misery.
Groucho Marx

1. I edited only 15 chapters of my thriller Sophia von X. I still have to add some details about Istanbul, Jerusalem, Yakuza family, Ice Age caves of Europe, Jesus Christ (grave), von Essen family, prologue-epilogue-interview…and most important, Bible. I also changed names of heroes, sigh.

The book is some kind of mix: Charlie’s Angels and Da Vinci Code.

2. I’ll spend Christmas on Malta! Vacation mode! 💃💃 Also, I’m taking a break from blogging until 15 January, but planning to work on Sophia von X and publish it – in the end of January 2020.

3. All my posts are scheduled (until Xmas). Plan is always here

4. I registered my books in the Copyright Register (Sweden/& International). If you are an American, you probably know that you can register your work with the Library of Congress, in general, whatever country you are in – there’s a copyright registry.

Sharing a very cool book of poetry MARGINALIA, Johan Jonson (check the picture below). I found it in the local library, in the section – ‘For you with a good taste” (yeah, we’ve got a section like this 😜)

The poems are short, 3-4 liners: the funniest thing is the lines between them. Let me give you an example of those lines first:

– I don’t have money
– We must have more money
– I gonna get these fucking money
– I promise you more money
– I love when I have money

The poem-example from Marginalia, J. Jonson
 (translated by Ray):

I want to love you, but I have no money

flowing
timeless
life
of my body
and zero.

I write for money

to write is
to suffocate. i want to
be choked.

I have to get some money, some way

suicide
never ends.
never.

I need more money

death is always
after you.
‘inaccessible’ after …

The money is never enough

i have no right
to be free. why
would i?

I dream about money at night

heaven
and the ocean
are ‘engines’.

  8. There’s a lot of Truth in Groucho’s comment, 😀 and talking of women! I’ve often mused, if I won say £4,000,000 on the lottery, would 25yr old pretty ladies begin trying to chat me up?

    🙂 Seriously, I’d guess yes!!

    • Victoria Ray NB says:

I think yes…I think you’d make their day even if you’d lift your finger to chat with them…but first – 4.000.000 😅😅😅
