Writing is easy. Writing well is hard work.

Check Ray’s latest interview (lots of secrets revealed!🤪) – writersnauthors.com  – opens in new window, it might be a little bit slow.

I have scheduled the newsletter for September. You can finally read two chapters (clean read) of my upcoming thriller ‘Sophia von X’: chapters 2 & 3, because I’ll write chapter 1 at the end, when the novel is ready. You’ll understand #why later.

I have 15 reviews for the book So Absurd It Must Be True’ (adult humor & satire, 18+), but if you haven’t read it yet – the time is now! Ray is waiting for your positive reviews! 😜🐲

The book of satirical poetry (Ray’s style), Legs: A Global Perspective on Society’ will be published at the end of October. I’m planning on sending it to – Benjamin Franklin Awards. Here’s the drawing I’m planning to use as the cover art (or in the book):

Well, so far that’s all… the next post – Cult of The Head – is truly delicious and exciting, written by Nathaniel Postell – check it out tomorrow, 14th September.

Stay breathtaking, electrifying and modern! 💃📚☕️🐲

  1. It opened after a year or so, you busy busy woman.

  2. I thought the interview was informative. 50,000 books a year. I hope so.😊

  3. I really believe you are going to at the very least hit that target. I learn a lot from you.

Wow, so much stands out in your interview. I don’t think I’ve ever learnt so much from one interview. How cool you’ve met people from online. Next time you’re in London we’ll hopefully catch up. 6 weeks wow! What did you think of your first burger? What happened to the cat? Of all the many countries you’ve visited which did you like least?

Lol 😂 it wasn’t much at all. Only 0,000000000000000000000000000000000000001 %. Or maybe less? 😂
When I choose a random person to meet (from “online-world”) – it always works, simply bcz she is always female, young, educated. I’m choosing her as “my companion” 🤓🤓 I did it only a couple of times tho…
But if my follower – usually a man 😂😂 – want to meet me…it’s always trouble. Simply bcz men-women = diff worlds, and they (men) simply expect toooooo much from me (often). I just wanna “fun person to hang out with.” Nothing more 😂

Burger smells & tastes like “one-month-old dirty 🧦 socks”. I do not eat them. Only if I’m in the middle of Sahara & there’s nothing around me. Only McDonald’s.

I don’t know what happened to a cat. It was October I guess ❄️ and very cold, so I & my friend brought/invited it to the class. Then teacher found out and sent us out – “please, kids, let cat go his own way”… and we did. But my friend (her idea to bring a cat but my bag 😂) decided to punish that ‘mean’ teacher. So we took off…without anything, in our school dresses 👗 😂😂😂

About countries. I’m only a tourist so I like them all. But of course there’re countries you visit only once and you don’t want to go there anymore because it’s nothing for you…

It’s nice you’ve always had a nice time abroad. I’ve always enjoyed the locations and seeing new attractions but it’s horrible if you run into rude people or the things you want to see are closed. I bet you must have a wonderful set of photos. I’m wondering where to go next.

No worries. I’ve been lucky enough to meet a few and had great experiences. One blogger I speak to regularly has even designed the cover for my second book.

I reread your interview. I can’t believe you read that fast! You learned English so well considering you learnt so late. I hope you get to build another sandcastle soon 🙂

Where to go next…always the question 🙂 I’m planning to go to Marrakech or Dubai but I’ll know only November. Otherwise it will be Puerto Banus, Spain or Malta again.

Cool I’m not sure if I’m following any book cover designers :/ maybe I should…

        I don’t know if it’s fast… 🙂 but I guess I could read 3-4 books a day if I needed
Thank you 🙂 it’s difficult to write in English but I have great editing team 😂🤓🕺🕺

3-4 books a day is something else 🙂 You should go to all 5 places. Have a great weekend too.

      • Victoria Ray NB says:

        💕💕 take care!

And have a great weekend! 👋👋🎈🎈

Per your title about writing well, you might enjoy this Somerset Maugham quote: “There are three rules for writing a great novel; unfortunately, no one knows what they are.”

Wow! What a great interview. You really come up with great answers. Hope your moonshot to a million book sales isn’t a fiction.😄
