Drawing a line in the sand…

Whether you dance, draw, make music, shoot field goals, build houses, tune engines, or sit around all day watching television, you are an artist. Your single greatest work of art is your Self! As with any art form, the more you understand and develop your talents, the more empowered and masterful you become as an artist. This is particularly important when engaging in the art of consciously shaping your own life. Scott E. Miller

    • Victoria Ray NB says:

haha, yep… that dog think Ray is a genius πŸ™‚ Mmmm, what do you think? Ah, and there’s only 1 right answer :))) Or let me correct myself – there’s only one B-right answer πŸ™‚

    What a great quote RNB.

This is true. I have a quote coming up on the blog soon that pretty much says this same thing.

    • Victoria Ray NB says:

Yes πŸ™Œ agreed, a perfect quote! πŸ™‚ and I’ll check it out πŸŽˆβ˜€οΈπŸ˜€β˜•οΈπŸ“–

What a fun interview!!! How in the heck did I not know you had a PhD in anything? I am so clueless. Loved your answer to that first question. Am still smiling!!!

    • Victoria Ray NB says:

Thank you! I hope you are fine, Kris! I’ll come over to check your news πŸ™‚ well, maybe you didn’t know because its in Classic Russian Literature, and it can be boring at times :)) Take care of you!!

      • Kris says:

Classic Russian Lit sounds perfect. And most classic lit can be boring at times. Moby Dick was much better when Patrick Stewart played Capt Ahab!

        • Victoria Ray NB says:

True πŸ™‚ some classic novels r more fun to watch πŸ˜‚

          • Kris says:

Especially if Patrick Stewart is a part of them. Or muppets. Muppet Treasure Island and A Christmas Carol are wonderful. Wacky, but that is the joy of Muppets!

Cute pup! Enjoyed the interview. Funny that you don’t like rewriting. I’m the opposite: harder to write, much more fun to rewrite.

    • Victoria Ray NB says:

Thank you πŸ™‚ she is already 6 years old (this April). Well, I don’t like to rewrite or revise/edit longer pieces of work, its just too awful… mostly because I have to keep all the details in my head, or constantly check them. I think to write first draft is the easiest part. And maybe you love working with details – that’s why you r enjoying rewriting, some kind of ‘perfecting’ the text.

      • Eilene Lyon says:

Yeah, I’d say I have a little perfectionist in me, but I know my early drafts have no style at all, too. Our pup just turned 8.πŸ™‚

  7. Great quote. Thanks for sharing.
