A love-hate relationship with the writing life…

My thriller, Sophia von X, is finally here. 👻
It took me 6 months and 3 very extensive weeks to finish the book. And now, when I’m thinking about all the work I’ve done, I’m realising I killed an insufficient amount of people.
I’d like to kill more…

I’d like to kill them all…
Ah, what a great feeling to say goodbye to all the crazy heroes you spent days and nights with!

If you know Ray (me) well, then you understand – this is not a normal thriller you’d pick in the local book shop. It is grotesque, on the edge with a parody to different movie flicks and books. The heroes are flat and without long back stories (there’re some life-tales though). I don’t like to show much, so I tell it as it is. 😂
It’s fast-paced, suspenseful, bloody, in some places – boring (too many car-chasing and guns), romantic (without any hard erotica), humorous and absurd.

I also believe that my blurb is much better than the book 🙀. I always could write nice, short pitches or synopses. In general, I love writing short stories, because I don’t get lost among the enormous number of characters.🐰👽🐻🦊

The heroes of the book are very colourful. Some exciting details:
Psycho husband
Head-hunters
Car chasing
Bikes on the road
Hotels, endless roads…
Team of hot girls: Korean, French, Italian, Russian and American
Sicilian Mafia
Guys from Ethiopia
Prize fighters
Fear of beards
Boxing
Fake archaeologists
Bible = verses, verses, verses… (quite random)
Flying on a private jet
Red Syndicate – Asian Mafia
Robbery
Ripper (kind of)
LGBTQ
Poisoning
Actors
Politicians
Pregnant ladies

Places: Italy, Turkey, Israel

A couple of words about the ending… It’s okay if you hate the ending. I hate it too! 💣😉

In this book, I don’t explain much. Why? Because I can’t give you all the answers. I still believe that we don’t know what kind of panties our neighbour is wearing today, but we can guess… So, please, use your imagination.

Think, read, think, repeat!

Ebook – 0.99 (until the end of the month, because I’ll run a promo) – link to Amazon

Paperback will be available next week. I’ll let you all know as soon as I check it. Price –$8.99. It is only 200 pages. I cut out the material I didn’t like much, and I dropped the prologue. 🤨

What else? This thriller is for grownups 18+, simply because I’m using bad language, inappropriate for a young audience.

If anyone spots a typo or mistake (not in punctuation, ONLY in the word or name) – let me know. The book was edited and proofread, but there’re always the possibility of missing something, especially considering I changed a couple of names in the story.

All kind of reviews are welcome in the future! I mean, I accept everything from 3 to 5 😜! No less than 3, folks! I put too damn much time in that story.  And coffee ☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️☕️

6 months work + 200 pages for 1 star?
NO WAY!
Thank you! Be nice!
AND STAY HEALTHY 💙

P. S. I’ll spend 2-3 weeks blogging, then, in April, I’ll start working with editing So Absurd It Must Be True, book 2 🔫🔫🔫

“It’s so absurd it must be true.” You are a prolific writing genius, Ray. Congratulations and if anyone gives you less than 3 stars you can send my dragons to live under their bed until they update their review with kind and true words of endearment. You are so right. A lot of time and coffee go into every great story.
