So, I haven’t been here for a while. It was almost a week without reading (only 100 pages), and I think I had time to watch only 1 movie – ‘Downsizing’ – all thanks to my mum, haha. But I’ll get back on the WP-track tomorrow evening!
“Some people grow up with issues because they did not have their parents around growing up, many others have issues because their parents were around growing up” Quetzal
What? You didn’t notice I was gone? That’s NOT OKAY. Mmmm, I have to punish you. Let me think ‘how’, while you are reading my post.
I was nominated for AWESOME Blogger Award by Warrior For Love – his last post 🙂
Thank you 💕💕!
1) What is the title of the book you are going to write, or are currently writing, or have already written?
Right now I’m writing the book about …the girl who is not human, but she is not the robot either. We actually don’t know what she is, but we are trying to figure it out – she is definitely the part of the world. By ‘we’ – I mean her and myself.
2) What is your favourite magazine or periodic publication?
In general – doesn’t matter. I can read even gossip magazines if I’m in the mood for that, but often I’m going to pick – ‘Focus Magazine’/BBC or ‘New Scientist’ or similar.
3) What is your favourite dessert?
Anything home-made and from scratch. Otherwise, organic chocolate 70-90%
4) If you’re doing the cooking, what’s for dinner?
Today? It will be pea, carrot and bulgur salad with orange and saffron dressing.
Dessert: mango and cherries. Its summer after all!
But if I have guests -> I’ll cook 3-dishes-dinner. Probably vegan or vegetarian. I can cook meat as well. I’m cooking every day 3 times a day. Usually I’m cooking a new dish once a week.
5) Who is your favourite poet?
TOO MANY. But I’m going to highlight only one today: Frank O’Hara
I know so much
about things, I accept
so much, it’s like
vomiting. And I am
nourished by the
shabbiness of my
knowing so much
about others and what
they do, and accepting
so much that I hate
as if I didn’t know
what it is, to me.
And what it is to
them I know, and hate.
6) What is your favorite social media platform?
I hate them all lol equally
7) If you could have a “do-over” in your life, what would you change?
Being more ‘rebel’ would do only good to me. That’s all.
8) Why do you travel?
To change my routines, to try new food and to meet new people.
10) Do you hike or camp in the wilderness and, if so, what do you like about it?
I don’t do that often, but I’m living near the forest (15 min walk from my house), so I can take a walk when I wish (usually, walk or run 5 km). Here’s the pictures/this week.
Also I’ve been nominated by Cat-Lady-In-Training 🙂 – Bitchin’ In The Kitchen Blog for my own challenge ‘Genius Of The Ancient World’ – or it doesn’t matter how you call it. It just got back to me 😂. Thanks A LOT for that!
And I’m going to introduce Epicurus – one awesome dude!
He explained that worshipping gods is a waste of time, that there’s no existence after death, and that happiness is the sole purpose of life. Most people in ancient times rejected Epicureanism, but today it has become the default view…
Epicurus defined happiness as the supreme good. He warned his disciples that it is hard work to be happy.
Being Happy Doesn’t Come Easy!
He outlined an entire ethic of ‘DOs’ and ‘DON’Ts’ to guide people to happiness. Some of them:
- Friendship over Love
- Analyse your Life
Here’s some of his quotes:
“Do not spoil what you have by desiring what you have not”
Next post, Tuesday, 12 June – Ayurveda/Mindfulness ‘Pranayama Practice’ and One Funny Challenge.
