“Like gravity, karma is so basic we often don’t even notice it.”
There are 3 types of karma. The word Karma means ‘action’.The action of Karma includes movement of our bodies and the movement of our thoughts. Also Karma refers to results of past actions, present actions, and actions we will perform in the future.
Of course, you can’t choose your birth and death, but life in between you can choose. That means that you and only you decide what do you want to think and what do you want to do.
Your current situation is always your own choice = you have to take full responsibility for your actions instead of blaming the environment or the difficulties during your life.
Remember: You take nothing with you from this world, only your karma!
Dharana-exercise to improve your Good Karma
1. Understand life through your strengths and weaknesses.
Compare yourself with a planet in the Milky Way galaxy (the strength in you is huge!)
Compare your current life-situation with a day as short as the time between the sunrise and the sunset (see your weakness as the day!)
2. Good Karma is your saving account.
Think of all the people who once lived on this planet and think about what they left when they died. Think of the possessions in your life: which of them make you really ‘rich’?
3. Be the light (the main word – ‘BE’).
Do not look for the light – be the light!
Do not try to love – instead, be the love!
Do not wait for someone to ask for help – find the one that needs your help!
If your right now is filled with loving affirmation, then the next moment will be filled with Good Karma.
P.S. I know HOW you think: ‘ahhh, I have to meet someone who will love me for who I am, and I’ll love her/or him back, blah-blah’ …just drop it right now! You are Love or you are NOT!
I’m talking about true love here. TRUE LOVE has no opposite. If your “love” has an opposite (example:love/hate relationship), then it is NOT love but a strong ego-need for a more complete and deeper sense of self. Love is not selective. It does not make one person special. It is not exclusive. Do not mix Love with your Ego!
4. Live like a traveler.
Remember: the smaller the luggage – the bigger the comfort of the travelling.
Why do you want to waste your life by ‘guarding’ something that will not be yours in the future?
“If you’re really a mean person you’re going to come back as a fly and eat poop.”
