The story from the book of Sadhguru “Inner Engineering”
A customer walking into Shankaran Pillai’s pharmacy saw a man outside hugging a lamppost, his eyeballs rolling wildly.
When he walked in, he asked, “Who’s that man? What’s wrong with him?”
Shankaran Pillai replied, unperturbed, “Oh, that guy. He is one of my customers.”
“But what’s the matter with him?”
“He wanted something for a whooping cough. I gave him the appropriate medicine.”
“What did you give him?”
“A box of laxatives. I made him take it right here.”
“Laxatives for a whooping cough?!! Why on the earth would you give him that?”
“Oh, come on! You saw him.. You think he dares to cough anymore?”
Shankaran Pillai’s box of laxatives is emblematic of the type of solution being peddled all over the world today for those in search of well-being…
So are you that guy with a whooping cough? Ask yourself. And hey..now you know where to start: a box of laxatives! Enjoy!
Tomorrow I’ll continue this “well-being” theme with a post from Luke about his vision on Health. Also I just finished the book of Linwood Barclay “No safe house”. I won’t write any review… its ok-book, 3 from 5 (if 5 is the highest score). Very ‘typical’ crime book: without any ‘ideas”, but with a cool plot.
I’m going to post a video from my South African trip as well. Thats all for now 🙂
