New Ways of Being ๐Ÿ’œ: Health Goals, Changing Your Vocabulary.

She is always so inspiring ๐Ÿค—โค๏ธ I love this => If we could see with clear eyes all the time, the world would be a very different place I think. Don’t you think so?? :))

FitnessConsciousnessHealth

Happy Sunday my friends! I hope your weekends treated you all well. Mine was quite blissful. Right now I am just enjoying where I am, while setting goals for my new life.

If we could see with clear eyes all the time, the world would be a very different place I think. I made a decision to be more in my body and in touch with how I am feeling and what is going on. I fasted yesterday to assess how I was feeling. It wasnโ€™t bad. It was nice to give my digestive system a little break. I plan on doing this again, possibly weekly or more. I have heard time-restricted eating was beneficial for muscle building and endurance. However, I know myself quite well by this time, so it is best for me to ease into things. When I become too rigid too quickly, I welcome failure.

  1. Fasting one day a week really seems to put things back in order! Not enough water though. Too mucho coffee!
Some years ago, it was suggested, to fast for three days in a row! WOW, the third day you were on TOP of the world! Your next meal and your world turned to sh*t!!!
    First day, some hunger discomfort!
Second day, some uncomfortable moments, most part feeling good!

    1. I don’t know. I don’t do it anyway. I’m eating healthy. But I think if ppl fast 1-2 days a week it’s ok. If longer – its a problem. That’s all. Fasting called 5:2 diet ๐Ÿ˜‰ I read about it haha bcz I’m usually reading lots about health.

      1. Trying new things also! Yesterday ‘carrot/radish salad, avocado oil and sunflower seeds! Not bad! I like most vegetables, just hard to put things together to make three meals!

      2. “Life” style change for three months now! Pizza was not removed from ‘Do Not Eat’ list!
Pastries have been a part of my life since very young. “Lindberg” family (really two Aunts) were brought to US by Pillsbury family in Minnesota as pastry trainees, Grandmother followed to open bakery, and Grandpa finally came to work as a black smith!
        Pizza, you know the story!
        Chocolate ‘just’ is!!!
        Meat gone!
        Fish few.
That’s my story and I’m sticking to it! :0

      3. So what do u mean with “life style change”? Fasting? Can’t get it..
I’m eating healthy tho lol I cook minimum 3 times a day (from the scratch!), but at home I’m usually eating 5 times a day. 3 meals + 2 snacks (healthy).. by healthy I doesn’t mean SALADS or water only lol I have no time to explain that all (basics, really) – so go google or follow Jillian Michaels, I find her food-snacks-advices – OK

      4. No vegan!!!!
I meant to say that meat was ‘mostly’ gone! Bacon is still on the eat list! Small servings!
Fish is still on my ‘eat’ list! Seafood in general I like!!
Do and do not ‘eat’ lists are non-existent! In my head so to speak!
Like you (again) when hunger strikes whatever is available!

      5. Bacon – have to be kicked/gone.
        Seafood is a good choice.
I think it’s enough to eat meat -1 or 2 times a month. How often do you eat meat?
No vegan either…but I do like grilled veggies or veggie-wok ;))

      6. By “lifestyle change” for me is putting more effort into my body’s needs! Thinking about what is going in and the + and -‘s! Most meals were eaten at restaurant. That stopped 1/1/17.
I am not a cook! I put things together sandwich’s, omelet. salads, or vegie snack trays!

      7. No to restaurant meals. It’s ok when on the vacation. But otherwise home cooked- best & HEALTHIER! And hey…cheaper too lol ๐Ÿ˜‚
Good if you stopped with outing all time…
You don’t need to be a cook…to cook at home ๐Ÿ™‚ id advice to buy some good vegetarian cook book (best with not so complicated meals) & you can always TRANSFORM them the way you want or able…and you can cook diff dishes ๐Ÿ™‚ with time you’ll learn & you’ll create your own. Usually veggie wok takes only 10min.
Also bcz I’m lazy I’m using oven almost for everything: I just put fish in the oven for 15 min & it’s done lol + salad = perfect meal haha
Lifestyle change – sounds good :))

      8. Bacon has to go, as long as you are helping with this then……….it’s gone! ๐Ÿ™‚
Grilled veggies, stir fry (wok) are excellent!
Meat eaten maybe twice a month! Try to eat good cuts only! ๐Ÿ™‚
Since ‘thank you’ has been used too many times this month, might I just say,
        Mucho Gracias ! ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚ ๐Ÿ™‚

      9. Mucho = just fine haha ๐Ÿ˜‚
Yeah, meat twice a month is enough. Even that dude who wrote China Study book eating meat once or twice a month (he wrote in the book), simply for B12…it’s hard to find in veggies :))
Bacon is too much fat. Bad fat. Too much cholesterol. Wanna heart disease or stroke – continue with your bacon lol

      10. Fish, is also quite delicious grilled!
I use Lemon and lime juice whenever I can. Not new, I have used them forever!
Actually, I add lime essential oil to my water (lemon if I run out)

      11. I don’t have any grill so I cook in the oven ๐Ÿ™‚ grilled is great – go for it! Lemon = every day (for me). I start my day with a glass of warm (or room temp) water with lemon & honey. Then – breakfast cooking.

      12. Yes, you are tough or rough, or just Ms. Ray! (I prefer Ms. Ray)
I believe I can do without a “heart attack”, stroke, or any other problems arising from to much ‘bad’ fat!
More Avocados! We have a ‘avocado festival’ in Ventura, Ca. First time I tasted avocado ice cream. Not bad! My favorite is rocky road!
Try the fish on the grill if you get a chance. GOOD!

      13. I tried fish on the grill lol ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚ maaaaanyyyyy times ๐Ÿ™‚ I just don’t cook – grill. Oven is easier. I have no time to stay & cook. Only soups. Soups usually takes time.. 1-2 hrs of cooking.
Otherwise I’ll cook during 10-20 min (max).
Avocados I like. I don’t eat more than 1-2 a day tho..simply bcz I’m eating lots of others healthy fats ๐Ÿ˜ฌ๐Ÿ‘‹
I’m pure Kindness, Kinky haha no tough-no rough :))

      14. I don’t remember if I tried avocado ice cream…hm, it’s so many names nowadays. I’m not a big fan of ice creams.
Vanilla is fine for me. I never buying ice cream tho (I mean I never have ice cream at home), I only eat it when traveling.

      15. PEANUT BUTTER ……………Yum Yum Yum Yum
PB is something I have grown up with! Natural peanut butter is good now. It used to be sort of dried out!
Fresh squeezed is BEST! Easier in CA. where you can pick as you need!

        Liked by 1 person

      16. Yeah…Sweden is very old fashion. Ppl wanna eat pizza & cola here. Difficult with fresh squeezed on the go. In CA it’s different. Lucky you!
I do it at home anyway. I have a big machine lol
Home cooked peanut butter is the best! I can do sometimes, or buying organic (from danish company I like).

      17. Yes, sometimes I make ๐Ÿ‘จโ€๐Ÿณ peanut butter myself, at home ๐Ÿ˜‰ yummy! Just got back from penguins colony โค๏ธ๐Ÿ‘‹๐Ÿ•บ#newtour

    1. You know…if you are fasting 7 days a week and drink only water – you probably doing it wrong ๐Ÿ˜‚๐Ÿ˜‚
Next: water 7,8 glasses a day is #must, and food (3 healthy meals a day) is totally norm. Otherwise bye bye health&good look. Fasting – one, two days a week (509,600cal) is fine. But it doesn’t mean every day. So chill here, Kinky
