Wine lands-tour

Today is +38 degrees here, in Cape Town (in Sweden +1 lol). Just got back to hotel from “Wine Lands Tour”. On the map below you’ll see where I’m located (it’s very central, near Victoria & Alfreds Waterfront), and also you’ll see the areas I’ve visited today: Stellenbosch and Franschhoek. There’re so many wine farms around …you can’t even imagine!!! ✌️😂 Mostly French, Dutch ppl who take care about them. Cape Town is very international and feels kinda safe here.

I bought 2 wines, one is Floreal (served at Nelson Mandelas 90s birthday) & another one – blend of Shiraz & blah blah local red wines/grapes (kinda fruity).

We also have tried some local cheeses 🧀 and they even sale here: zebras pate, crocodile pate (a little bit too barbaric) & antelope meats.
Yes, I think I’ve got a phobia of an empty glass lol at the end of the trip – we tasted 12 wines only (visited 3 farms).
Cape Town is a very beautiful place and all around remind you about Europe – ‘European style’:France, Germany, England.
Amazing cappuccino and sugar 🕺😂❤️ & cakes yum 👅
Wifi at the hotel sucks, don’t want upload all my pics, so maybe I’ll post more from home.

    • Yes it is cheesecake & REAL one, best I had so far :)) it’s very nice here, tomorrow im planning a city tour and next day – safari. I need to visit a beach too…but I’m not a beach person so I guess it will be only 1 day at the beach haha 👋✌️ btw…very funny story happened today (witnessed myself). I’ll tell later, some day…(when I’m at home, in Sweden).

  3. Beautiful pictures, thank you so much for sharing them. The areas you shared have great appeal and flavour. I’m the original armchair traveller so I’m absolutely thrilled. I got a particular kick out of the “rhino”? is it? Again, thank you.

  4. Great pics you got there! I’m so happy you’re enjoying Cape Town. Of the whole of South Africa, it’s the best place to visit. Oh, perhaps next time, you’ll want to go up to the ‘Eastern Transvaal…check out the elephants, ride on them, feed them, and see the incredible places that are not even written about in History books! Enjoy the Cape, it’s too stunning for words! Please be safe x x

    • Thank you..:) don’t know about elephants- i already done it in Shri Lanka: riding, washing of small elephant, feeding etc. I’m sure the place you named is beautiful (nature) ☀️❤️ Yes, hopefully everything will be fine 🙂 today I booked a city tour. So it’s kinda relaxing day before safari :))

  5. Exploring thru the eyes of Ms.Ray once again! Finding interesting things in the photos the 2nd or 3rd time thru!
Looking at life in ‘general’ can be the same! During our “once over” we sometimes rush, failing to see the ‘all’ the contents!
Appreciating your time and talents RayNotBradbury!!! 🙂 🙂 🙂
