An Explanation

It was very mmm, heavy* to read. Especially this – ‘I want to be loved so badly that I’m willing to take whatever anyone is willing to give me.’ Why we so stingy on ‘giving love’? Are you Emotionally Generous or Emotionally Stingy? …something to think about. Today.

  1. wow. Going to read this one again later. I can give, but am wary of getting. Moms are hard on their kids. Mine was. Still is. Even at 52, I am never right. She taught me thru her 4 marriages to never hold on to things. Especially love. I am kind of cynical in a lot of respects. And I’d love to learn to belly dance!

    1. haha you are really awesome, Kris :)) I don’t think I could ever learn a belly dancing.. I’m too shy to show my belly..aaaaaa haha. And you are very right. My mum think he knows the best and Im still a little girl for her. And Im usually chat with her every 3-4 hour every day!, and if I don’t – she’ll probably call to police to find her daughter lol she worry too much.

      1. I didn’t say I wanted to show my belly, I said I wanted to learn to dance! It is actually one of the least impacting and best for your exercises around. (it doesn’t hurt you like some of the other ones out there and it has the best benefits.) I did a few weeks of online classes, but ended up using up too much of my mom’s internet!

      2. Yeah, but even dancing – I can only jump around like a monkey haha. Understand what you mean tho and it is a great exercise of course. Maybe some day later. About you-You could go to dance classes maybe, if there’re any (maybe ball classic dancing lol) in your area.

    1. There’s one need maybe – to be loved (at least I hope)…but I don’t know. What I know: it’s so many things happening there, too many. It’s all very personal, so I wouldn’t advice a shit. But why I’ve stopped by at all -> because she spoke about her mother.. and my mother was really “hard” woman too, and she used to beat me (often a lot..I couldn’t sit lol) but I don’t know: 1. I do not remember why she did it. Maybe was tired..life was hard, I was always late everywhere 😂 2. I have very good relationship with my mum. Because it doesn’t matter. Never been. I do not keep any kind of anger or offense. 3. She def love/loved me, but I NEVER heard it, she never told me. But I just know…so the question is: is it just stupid me? who actually was never “bitter” or …?
Mmm, also the relationship with husband. Oh, I’d write a book about it. But all I can say: let him be…and go. And be happy with ur child & life. It will be fine with a time..and we don’t need anyone to love us. We have to love us first..

      1. 1. Maybe switching from ‘marriage’ council to therapy for her ‘life’.
        2. Parents. Most from what I have seen are/were following what had been engrained in them. I don’t believe our parents are/were trying to inflict bodily harm. The spankings/beatings were suppose to act like a wake-up call to us, that something was a miss in our behavior.
        3. Remember, the world has changed a lot/too mucho since your parents time! They did not walk around saying ‘I love you’ the way folks do now. I grew up, never hearing the words directed towards me. That being said I understood “actions speak louder than words”. Which I still believe!!!!
        4. “The question is” is it just stupid me? “who actually was never bitter or…?
NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO NO!!!!!!
        1. You know there is nothing “stupid” about you!!!
        2. Thinking back, you might ‘agree’ with your Mom and her reasons!

        5. Thank you for both postings this morning! Kinda felt like fast elevator ride between heaven and hell. 🙂 🙂 🙂

      2. Agreed with 2 🙂 ✌️😁 about parents very true..and 3 – older generation is very ‘stingy’ with the words, and I never heard from my mum or even grandma 👵 words “I love you” but I knew they did/does. (Ps. Yeah, I def needed a good whip 😂) and have a good day Kinky from Ray (never-stupid-me😛😛)

      3. Damn, almost forgot!
        6. I have never had a Husband! HOWEVER…….I have had three (3) (tres) wives, then it dawned on me, maybe I was not supposed to be married! Talk about feeling anything but smart! My dad used to tell me, go out find a woman, buy her a house, stay with her as long as possible, then move on! He did not say this until my last divorced . Hmmmmmmmmmm

      4. lol 😂 oh, it’s mostly about compatibility for me (in marriage). Maybe you should find cute grandma-oldie who will cook, wash & read for you. How about that? 😬👋

      5. Thank you for the suggestion(s)! I can cook (not a lot), clean (a must) and “read” for my lonesome! Thank you!
Just to make a point here and show you how independent I am………..I Dan aka K, can enjoy an Avocado, without cooking it or, reading about it! 🙂 Now, if that does not amaze you, I can do all of the above with my eyes closed!
        Dinner time for you! Enjoy!

      7. I appreciate your offer to help! However, I think I will stay with the ‘female’ partner thingy!
Luke is the best, and there are plenty of adventures left in his young life!
You never know, maybe while escorting Luke on one of his ‘tequila sunrise’ adventures you two (as in Ray and Luke) will find a mutual attraction, to one another, and be off to countless adventures in uncharted lands!
I think that is how Mickey and Minnie Mouse got together! 😉

      9. Maybe you could post a story about Luke learning to belly dance!
In California, where I live we have what is called farmer’s market. One day (Thursdays) local farmers, restaurants and Pubs, all display their wares!
In a grassy area they have “Belly Dancers” (students from belly dance school).
Really should be “Belly Exercise” Group! 😉
Take care, it has been fun!
Have dinner and a relaxing evening!!
