The square root of “I” is “I”

Humans want to control the world. Their ego want the world to behave as they wish.
What is guiding us: faith or fear? grief or anger?
Forget the self and you will fear nothing…Is it even possible? And is it the right way? Then what about saying: “great people” always have “great egos”, and thats what makes them great.
What would it be – a human without an ego?

People reject what they do not understand because it makes them feel small. They would rather believe in some other reality, even if it is only an illusion, so long as it makes them feel bigger. from “Rise Up and Salute The Sun”

Is it possible to exist without an ego in the world we have now?

Some answers you’ll probably find on the page of FitnessConsciousnessHealth blog, there’s a link to  Check Your Ego post. She inspired this post.

I’ve found my ego.
But I’ve lost my life…

All space around me
In one moment
at the door with no exit.

I feel my soul is
Sinking down,
And hate is falling
Under my skin.
Where the anger
Is pushing ‘out’
Invisible dominos
Of all beliefs and dreams
I never had.

Deep. Deeper.
In the place
Where the fear lives.
Comforting slowly
My immortal wish
Of being One –
The Best.
The God.
The Winner.

Let’s change the rules:

I’ve lost my ego.
But I’ve found my life…

I dropped it on the floor
Then smashed,
Crumbled it,
And shattered
In pieces.
So easy,
Still so painful
To see all galaxies
Of wishes and desires
Destroyed just in seconds.

Good bye for now!
No empathy.
No mercy.

Only faith
I’ll keep inside of me
With all my strength…

Knowing HOW to think empowers you far beyond those who know only WHAT to think.

      1. Ego exist but we can be aware and not let that Ego to things on its own and that is all what spiritual growth journey is about

  2. I think “but I found my life” is the best way to start off this week with a ‘bang’!!!!
EGO 2 me = ‘paper’ tiger OR large EGO = one (1) with ‘paper’ asshole………..

    1. “found my life” is def better 😬 plus coffee! ☕️😎 the last piece – didn’t get much & even DONT WANNA TRY! I’m trying to make my life easier…so don’t complicate it with tigers, papers, your double-ego and even asshole 😶😱🙃😬😬

      1. I think the path we ‘choose’ in life ‘could’ play a part in the development of the EGO!
Seems a ‘faith’ based life requires nothing from EGO.
Sorry if the first post fell flat. I have a ‘real’ problem when trying to deal with EGOs!
However, coffee and a smile has calmed me down!!

      2. Its true (ur first phrase), but i still think our EGO is more awake when we r inside of the group or belong to some group. Freud told us about it and Gustave Le Bon too. Sorry couldn’t answer- cooking. Dinner haha :))

      3. I’d compare it in size to a grain of salt/sand! Not always though, I was self employed for 33 years, and I needed a trailer to carry my head/ego around. Thank God! He let me experience ‘real’ life, without taking mine!

      5. Salt, brings up the thought of Avocado, which brings up coffee, which brings up fresh baked bread, which in turn brings up the ‘fact’ I have NO bread! Damn
        Have a good evening!

    1. Great! I get back to the post later :)) I did just quick reading..I’m on the way to lunch. And I’m bad at math. I can put together 1+1 tho but I think ur post is more “universal”= philosophical..I have to reread it before commenting:) it probably will be later ev bcz a busy day but what a wonderful Monday!!

  3. But we are never going to understand everything in this world. Ever. Ignorance is a bliss. So is it a bad thing to reject things we do not understand? Is it a bad thing to keep the ego if this makes it possible for us to live in this world? Knowing HOW to think can be quite painful sometimes!

    1. Mmmm, I don’t know. I see something else in that quote below.. knowing “how” to think make u stronger and probably more visionary, or more organized..etc etc. it gives you some kind of the power over your own “weak” self & maybe make u stand out from the crowd (lol here the Ego comes…haha). I have to agree what u wrote about Ego in the comment. I don’t think we (humans) can exist without it…I can’t imagine that. Ops! The funny thing – the word “ego” never been mentioned in the Bible. When the first Ego *arrived*? I guess when we r in the group of ppl – we embrace it the most. If we r alone we don’t need it much. Or do we..? lots questions. I appreciate your view✋️
