When all are guilty…

Inspired by Hannah Arendt. Its a bit difficult reading, because of the allegory. But be patient. It’s short 😉

“When all are guilty, no one is; confessions of collective guilt are the best possible safeguard against the discovery of culprits, and the very magnitude of the crime, the best excuse for doing nothing.” Hannah Arendt

When all are guilty – no one is.

All are saints

With a knife and hidden smile.

Behind that smile you’ll find

A fear.

With a voice.

It gives the loudest speech

Of crime.

But you can’t hear it.

Well, weak minds have no ears,
they say.
It is believed,
those, who is without a heart…can’t hear itself.
What a sad way to spend the air.

When all are guilty – no one is.

Ignorance is talking hatefully to wisdom.

Intentions are too simple:

To keep the wisdom silent,

And knowledge – underground.

Successfully done!

Long-haired donkey raised its voice:

‘Hey, Johnny, how can I help you?

Oh, Dear!

I would have killed you sooner,

But I had several appointments

To run.

If you’d like – next Monday is still free.

I’ll put you on my list.

Prepare to unzip your soul for me

I’ve found a cure for your fair heart, –

It’s called “Slavery”.’
