You Have Nothing More To Give

Inspired by Mary Wollstonecraft.

“I never wanted but your heart – that gone, you have nothing more to give.”
― Mary Wollstonecraft

You have nothing more to give…

You are an empty spoon.

For everyone who’s hungry,

And shadows growing on their faces.

You are half-nothing at the bar across the street.

For everyone’s with a hangover,

And thirsty with the anger.

You are a two-words-letter.

For everyone who’s thousands miles from home,

Too lonely and crying into pillow.

You are the pain in chest.

For everyone in the middle of break up,

Bruised and bleeding.

You are cold summer.

For every  bird,

Who’s freezing, but still singing.

You have nothing more to give…

You are a cage.

For everyone who never looked up,

Because the heart is blinded.
