A little extra for free…

(written in the restaurant while waiting for my dinner)

I would have left you.

If you could only teach me

How to cut the roots of blue

In town of melancholy

You’ve created

Around my drowned love.

I would have left you.

If somebody would give me in return

A boat,

To sail in open water,

Dressed in the gold and black…

To fly and search for islands

In unborn ‘spring-flowing’ light.

To breathe the sea,

And paint butterflies,

The laughing doves,

To jump under the skin of Earth

Like it’s the last time…

I would have left you.

If I knew

that green grass I desired

is greener on the other side of the sunset.

And if I knew,

Your Pharaonic kingdom

Almost crumbled

In a million of ‘winter-cries’

…and we are on the ground.

Between the fists of edgy fury

And broken paradise.

Swimming,

In those ‘gargles’ of unknown.

I would have left you.

But I have no power

To stop my appetite.

I want my apple-pie, – you know…

(hahahaha)
